Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Tally Counter app (the "App"), developed by Hagai Luger (LugerApps). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the third-party services it relies on.

We do not sell your personal information. The data the App handles falls into two categories: content you create, which stays on your device, and limited usage, diagnostic, and advertising data collected by the third-party services described below.

Information You Create (Stored on Your Device)

Everything you create in the App is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. This includes:

• Your counters (names, values, colors, and settings)
• Counter history and streaks
• Home-screen widget data
• App preferences (sound, vibration, theme, and similar settings)

This data is never sent to our servers. It remains on the device unless you delete the App or clear its data.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

The App uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config) to understand how the App is used and to detect and fix crashes. These services may collect:

• App usage and interaction events (for example, opening the history screen or adding a widget)
• A pseudonymous app-instance identifier
• Device and operating-system information
• Crash logs and diagnostic data
• General location data (country/region level, derived from IP address)

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use information to provide personalized or non-personalized ads. The information collected by Google AdMob may include:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• IP address
• App usage data
• General location data (country/region level)

You can opt out of personalized advertising by resetting your Advertising ID in your device settings.

Feedback You Choose to Send

If you use the in-app feedback form, the message you write is sent to and stored in our Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) database so we can read and act on it. Depending on what you choose to include, a submission may also contain:

• An email address, only if you choose to provide one (so we can reply)
• Optional diagnostic details, only if you leave the "include diagnostics" option on: app version, device model, operating-system version, and app language

Feedback is only sent when you actively submit the form. If you do not use the feedback form, none of this information is collected.

Permissions

• Internet: Required to display advertisements and to use the Firebase services described above.

Data Security

The content you create is stored locally on your device, so the security of that data depends on your device's security. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured with a screen lock. Data handled by Google Firebase and AdMob is protected in accordance with Google's security practices.

Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
